Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in high-end plastic products for development and testing in a GMP environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proficiency in a 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs 5+ years of product design experience 5+ years of 3D CAD experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience within a GMP environment, cleanability (pharmaceuticals, food)

Responsibilities:

Develop and test new products with design team resources Research new technologies and compliance regulations/guidelines Conduct design feasibility reviews Spec components and build bill of materials for complex machine assemblies Assemble design drawings and perform simple FEA analysis on structural assemblies Conduct design review meetings and draft project documentation packages Support Engineering Manager in product initiatives such as improved functionality and cost reduction

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
