About the role:

As a Mechanical Delivery Manager, you’ll be at the heart of project execution, responsible for safely, efficiently, and effectively delivering complex mechanical systems in alignment with cost, time, and quality targets. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Head of Sector to ensure world-class delivery that reflects the scale and ambition of HS2.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead delivery of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring quality and programme milestones are metCoordinate with cross-discipline teams to maintain safety, compliance, and technical integrityCollaborate with client representatives, consultants, and stakeholders to align delivery objectivesSupport commercial management to maintain project margins and deliver valueDrive continuous improvement in productivity, safety, and qualityDeputise for the Project Manager as required

Experience:

Proven experience in delivering large-scale mechanical engineering projects, ideally in rail, infrastructure, or MEP sectorsStrong leadership and coordination skillsSound commercial understanding and ability to manage budgets and timelinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience managing multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes environment
