In this role, you will: + Utilize Siemens NX to design components, systems, portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve production + Support mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware design efforts from conceptual layouts through detailed design + Conduct design trade studies, volume packaging and tolerance analysis + Plan, execute, develop, release and control of product definition data (engineering models and drawings) + Perform Change Orders as required + Perform other related duties as assigned + Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a **hybrid work format** , with time split between working onsite and remotely **Who you are:** + You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills + You are a problem solver with diverse technical capabilities + You re willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get the job done + You are always looking for ways to do things better and faster **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Must have an associate s degree + Must have Mechanical Design experience + Familiarity with comprehensive design process + Must be familiar with standard manufacturing practices for the efficient fabrication of mechanical components and assemblies + Must have ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment + Must be familiar with GD&T in accordance with Y14.5 + Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Design Drafting associate s degree + 10 years of Mechanical Designer experience + Experience working in Siemens NX + Experience with Dassault Systemes ENOVIA PDM + Expert with GD&T, Military Standards and ASME Standards + Highly proficient with technical data packages and engineering drawings + Active U.S. DoW Secret security clearance **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
