Job Description:

Mechanical Assemblers are part of the manufacturing environment and ensure products are being built to the highest quality standards using hand tools as needed.

Responsibilities:

Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panel, which includes sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doorsEnsure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processesWork with the highest level of safetyFulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery timesUse of scanners and computers to communicate production order statusProvide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiencyMaintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environmentAbility to flex into other work areas as neededMust be willing to work overtime when needed.

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbsMust be able to use hand tools efficientlyMust be able to work in a safe manner

Skills:

Analytical Problem SolverCapable of reading a tape measureGeneral math skillsQuick learnerAble to flex in/out of different jobs on a weekly or daily basis
