Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling a variety of components on an assembly line, contributing to the build of our reefer units. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all assemblies
Keep up with the pace of the assembly line to meet production efficiency goals
Meet daily production targets and deadlines
Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects or inconsistencies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes
Qualifications:
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to read and follow blueprints, instructions, and diagrams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 40 lbs
Coachable attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow
