Mechanical Assembler
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be integral to the production of high-quality window units. You will work in either Sub Assembly or general assembly, utilizing your skills with hand and power tools to assemble large window units with precision and care. **Responsibilities** + Assemble large window units using hand and power tools. + Add metal brackets, fasteners, clips, and other hardware to window units. + Use caulking guns to fill spaces and test caulking products for sealing effectiveness. + Paint material ends and work with non-irritant insulation. + Wrap and inspect final units for any assembly or manufacturing flaws. + Work with large pieces of glass and sheet metal, standing and walking for full shifts. + Retrieve materials and conduct unit testing in outdoor environments as needed. + Meet daily and overall production goals, and participate in cross-training activities. + Receive and apply feedback constructively to improve processes. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years experience in a mechanical role. + Proficient in reading blueprints and using power tools. + Experience with mechanical assembly, fitting, and quality assurance. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + 1-2 years of experience in the construction or mechanical field. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Computer skills are a plus. + Experience in assembly roles or familiarity with large unit assembly is ideal. + Flexibility to work in various tasks and environments. + Positive attitude and excellent listening skills. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a supportive and family-oriented environment where employee well-being is prioritized.
