Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 to $22.00 /hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:30pm)Performs low to moderately complex assembly and testAssemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructionsFollow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performedWork with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirementPick and/or stock parts from point of use in stock rooms and places completed partsComplete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test RecordMechanical Assembler Qualifications:
Must have extensive knowledge of hand tools and power tools, including torque wrenchesMust have strong mechanical aptitude Strong computer skills are requiredMust have the ability to identify problems and to assist with resolution. This also includes the ability to acquire and apply new knowledge and skillsThe ability to write effectively, to read and understand work documents and to communicate information clearly to coworkers and supervisorGeneral knowledge of machines and equipment functionality, and how tools could be used on such equipment/machinesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
