Job Description

ResponsibilitiesUtilize machine drawings, assembly drawings, controls schematics, and relevant bills of materials to build and problem-solve proficiently.Engage in the reduction and elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.Proficiently use hand tools for tasks including structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly, ensuring quality workmanship and neatness.Complete quality assurance checks and provide accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including Kanban.Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.Essential Skills1+ year experience in mechanical assembly.Proficiency in using tape measures, blueprints, hand tools, and power tools.Strong mechanical assembly skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with general labor and assembling tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on the 1st Shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Voluntary overtime is available on Fridays or Saturdays. The facility is clean and well-lit, with assemblers working in teams of 2-6 using Milwaukee tools. Candidates may occasionally work on platforms up to 20ft high and 70ft long, with accommodations made for those uncomfortable with heights.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
