We have an outstanding Contract position for a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Sun Valley, CA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $21 - $25
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of mechanical systems, robotic and mechatronic devices, lights, sound systems, server control panels, cables, and power supplies. The task requires both electrical and mechanical assembly skills. If you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please Apply Now!
Responsibilities:Hands-on operations with both large and small assembliesRead, understand, and interpret drawings and schematicsStage, set up, assemble, test, and install hardware and prepare cables for assemblyUse precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, cable crimpers and splicers, and driversPerform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructionsUse various mechanical tools with basic instructionsCollaborate with production engineers to develop and document activitiesEnsure all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional mannerPerform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
Basic Hiring Criteria:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of mechanical assembly experienceSkill in operating and manipulating various hand and power tools, requiring manual dexterityStrong ability to understand technical drawings, schematics, and test proceduresAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs
