Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for performing mechanical upfitting on Ford Transit vans, specifically working on the Spectrum cable van. This role includes installing shelving units and pre-assembling components. The candidate must possess good knowledge of hand and power tools and be able to read blueprints.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical upfitting on Ford Transit vans.Install and pre-assemble shelving units.Utilize hand and power tools effectively.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Work on up to 20-30 vans a day.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.Proficient with hand tools, power drills, and impact drills.Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in upfitting or automotive facilities is highly desirable.Lube technician experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is located underground in the caves, maintaining a comfortable temperature range of 60-70 degrees. Teamwork is emphasized, with teams consisting of 10 or more members working at a fast pace. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans or work pants, and a work shirt. Eye and ear protection will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KANSAS CITY, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
