**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble and fabricate products according to specifications using hand tools and power tools. You will perform quality checks on finished products, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow safety guidelines and protocols. This position requires a good understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to assist with inventory management and warehouse duties.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and fabricate products according to specifications.
+ Operate hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
+ Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
+ Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as needed.
+ Operate forklift to move materials and products within the facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with machinery.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions or blueprints.
+ Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
+ Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in MIG welding is a plus.
+ Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.
+ Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.

**Work Environment**
This position is first shift, 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime starting at 6am when needed. The work environment varies with temperature conditions, being warm in summer and cold in winter, providing a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. Employees will build machines that fabricate sheet metal for HVAC ducts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Pevely, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
