**Job Description**
The Manufacturing Operator B is responsible for line component assembly, individual sub-assembly, material and final washing, rework and repair operations, and pallet loading. The role involves assisting in maintaining quality and manufacturing processes to meet company objectives and achieve customer satisfaction. The operator will also be trained to connect the pump being assembled to a specific device for testing.

**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare work by studying job packets and work instructions.
+ Utilize available parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials to manufacture and test products.
+ Examine parts for correct fit and assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions.
+ Verify specifications are met through visual inspections and using automated measuring/monitoring and final test equipment.
+ Demonstrate capability to meet standard levels of productivity.
+ Proactively resolve problems related to meeting specifications by communicating with the Line Lead or Supervisor.
+ Document actions by completing production and quality forms such as scrap tags.
+ Escalate issues preventing the execution of standard work in the work center to the Line Lead.
+ Initiate programs and operate test stands.
+ Assist Engineering in troubleshooting general issues.
+ Maintain product quality by following established procedures and customer requirements.
+ Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations.
+ Notify Line Lead or Supervisor immediately of any problems.
+ Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
+ Participate in team efforts by working towards daily metrics posted in specific work areas.
+ Maintain daily housekeeping to promote a clean, productive environment.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Lead or Supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with assembly, hand tools, and blueprint reading.
+ Mechanical assembly experience preferred.
+ Minimum of 6 months in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and tape measures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to proactively resolve issues and communicate effectively.
+ Capability to document actions and escalate issues as necessary.
+ Experience in initiating programs and operating test stands.
+ Ability to assist Engineering in troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with maintaining product quality and compliance with procedures.

**Work Environment**
The position requires standing all day during the shift. The second shift consists of a smaller team of two others in the Production Assembly area. The work environment involves exposure to oils and cleaners, loud noises requiring hearing protection in select areas, and exposure to moving parts, equipment, and coolants. Eye protection is required in all plant work areas, and slip-resistant safety shoes are mandatory. The manufacturing environment is very clean and air-conditioned.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $19.70/hr.
