Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.   Position Title:  Mechanical Assembler    Position Overview: Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.  Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, Coating, Ruggedization and cable harnessing on assembly units.  Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.   Responsibilities: Operate various hand tools Perform repetitive task on assembly line Follow written instructions from formal procedures Lift and/or move materials usually not in excess of 15 pounds Successfully complete documentation associated with assigned work task Requirements: High school diploma  Must be able to read and understand written documentation Must be willing to work occasional overtime   Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
