About the Role

As a 2nd  or 3rd  Year Mechanical Apprentice, you’ll work closely with a qualified mentor who will help you develop your trade skills and gain practical experience in a large‑scale, fast‑paced production environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Work safely and follow all procedures Maintain quality standards when working on equipment Support with small mechanical issues and minor stops Assist with changeovers and share improvements Join problem‑solving activities to prevent repeat failures Collect basic maintenance data and support simple reporting

What you’ll bring

Working toward NZCE/Advanced Trade Certificate (Mechanical preferred) Good troubleshooting ability Basic machine knowledge and hands‑on mechanical interest Keen to learn and gain more experience in maintenance activities Ability to support simple problem‑solving tasks Basic understanding of maintenance engineering or inventory/supply processes
