Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: As a Mechanic Supervisor A, you will be instrumental in repairing and performing preventative maintenance of our fleet of patrol vehicles. In this role, you will: + Assigns work to mechanics and other shop personnel. + Provides guidance and assists lower-level mechanics. + Assures that adequate supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. + Inspects repair work in progress and upon completion. + Evaluates the work performance of subordinates. Updates cost and time records for repair activities. + Supervises preparation of repair orders, equipment records, requisitions, etc. + May operate a wrecker to recover and transport inoperative vehicles.
