About the role.
Assists and learns to perform maintenance work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or the shift Lead Maintenance Mechanic to assist with repair and adjustment of processing equipment; changing and replacing belts, sprockets, bearings, chains, motors, pumps, etc. while following proper safety practices.Listens to others to receive training in the department in areas such as pump repair, bearing replacement and gear drive repairLearns and assists with identifying production line operational inefficiencies and suggests improvements.Performs welding functions, including Stick, Tig, and Mig.Observes and participates in the processes of fabricating simple chutes, taking dimensions, layout design, cut or shear pieces, maintain square, and weld joints and seams maintaining square while avoiding buckling of panels.Reads calipers and dial indicators.Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment.
High School diploma or GED; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation Package: $28.74-$49.26 USD hourly + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
Shift Differential Pay: $1.50/hr
