Our client is seeking a Mechanic III to work within their facilities located Carlsbad, NM on a 12-month assignment. 

Responsibilities Serviced and maintained compressors, including VRU, gas lift, and instrument?air systems Performed troubleshooting, repairs, and routine inspections to ensure compressor reliability and uptime. Supported field operations with safe, efficient compressor maintenance in active production environments.
Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred. Relevant mechanical certifications are a plus. Oilfield experience preferred, but not required Minimum 3 years in mechanical maintenance, specifically in compressor stations. #LI-BC1
