As a **PM service Technician** with us the minimum responsibilities are: + Perform routine preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment, including lubrication, oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements. + Inspect vehicles and equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or potential mechanical issues, and report findings to the lead mechanic or supervisor. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance bay, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. + Assist mechanics with basic repairs and part replacements as directed, including tire checks, battery maintenance, and light mechanical tasks. + Document all maintenance activities accurately using fleet maintenance software, including services performed and parts used. + Monitor and replenish shop supplies such as grease, oil, filters, and cleaning materials. + Support road call responses by preparing tools and parts or assisting with minor on-site maintenance tasks. + Communicate professionally and courteously with drivers and other team members regarding vehicle conditions and maintenance needs. + Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations as outlined by the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Environment, and Waste Connections of Canada. + Perform other related duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or lead technician. **What We Need From You:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Experience performing preventative maintenance on diesel trucks or heavy equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and basic inspections. + Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems, including diagnostic and maintenance software + Valid Class G driver’s license + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow maintenance schedules and safety procedures. + Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements **What You’ll Get From Us:** + Competitive Wages: $27.97/h + Retirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your future + Benefits; Medical, Dental, Vision + Perks, perks, perks!
