EnergyUnited is looking for a **Mechanic** to join our Operation Services team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of our fleet - including cars, trucks, trailers, and off-road equipment. You’ll help keep the Cooperative operating efficiently and reliably, ensuring that our vehicles are safe and road-ready every day. **What You’ll Do:** + Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brakes, batteries, lights, tire work, belts, hoses, and more. + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a wide range of equipment. + Keep maintenance records and track operational costs. + Use specialized equipment including engine analyzers, torches, grinders, and recovery units. + Deliver emergency repair support and uphold all safety standards and regulations. + Keep the shop and workspaces clean and hazard-free. Skills & Requirements **What You’ll Bring:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Trade/vocational training in automotive/light truck repair is a plus. + **ASE Certification** (A1, A4, A5, A6, A7) required. + 3 years of experience as a fleet mechanic. + Valid NC Class A CDL with air brake endorsement. + Your own complete set of standard and metric tools. + Employees must reside or be willing to relocate within a 25-mile radius of EnergyUnited's Statesville office location. **Why EnergyUnited?** At EnergyUnited, we do more than keep the lights on, we power the lives of the communities we serve.
