What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required) 1+ year(s) of experience as a mechanic Basic mechanical skills required; electrical diagnosis and welding experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must pass background check and drug screening Valid driver’s license required Ability to work independently and stay motivated Must have own tools (some provided by the company)
What You’ll Do as a Chassis Service Technician: Inspect and maintain intermodal chassis, trailers, and container equipment Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance on fleet equipment, including brakes, tires, bumpers, subframes, and more Conduct electrical diagnosis and welding as needed Maintain inventory of parts and ensure proper documentation of repairs Identify and source necessary replacement parts for repairs Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Secure equipment during and after repairs Work independently while meeting company productivity and safety standards
