**Job Title: Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform service tasks on diesel engines and service trucks. This role involves completing oil changes, tire maintenance, hydraulic line repairs, light changes, and minor electrical wiring. The position also requires performing preventative maintenance and utilizing lube tech experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Service diesel engines and service trucks.
+ Perform oil changes and tire maintenance.
+ Repair hydraulic lines and replace lights.
+ Conduct minor electrical wiring tasks.
+ Implement preventative maintenance procedures.
+ Utilize lube tech skills in daily operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines.
+ Strong knowledge of hydraulics.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance.
+ Experience in diesel engine and fleet maintenance.
+ Mechanical skills with minor electrical expertise.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with lube tech operations.
+ Mig/stick welding skills are a plus but not required.
**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of maintaining service trucks and fleets, with a focus on mechanical and minor electrical repairs. The role involves hands-on tasks and requires practical experience in diesel engines and hydraulics. The position offers a structured schedule and requires adherence to safety protocols.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
