Maintenance Team Lead - Automated SystemsJob SummaryLead maintenance operations for automated systems including conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment. This role promotes safety while training team members, troubleshooting complex systems, and managing preventative maintenance programs. Position requires expertise in electrical systems, industrial electronics, and leadership of maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Team Leadership
Promote safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocolsTrain team members on safe operation and basic maintenance of automated equipmentDevelop training plans for service technicians and maintenance staffLead and audit preventative maintenance procedures across all systemsMaintain positive working relationships throughout the operations facilitySystem Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the buildingInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control componentsWork with photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoidsDiagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues affecting equipment functionalityExecute corrective maintenance activities to restore system performance promptlyRobotic Cell & Automated Equipment Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on AutoStore, Case Conveyor, Pallet Conveyor, Spirals, Robotics, and ML2 systemsPerform scheduled maintenance on material handling equipment and conveyor systemsIdentify and address mechanical, electrical, and control system performance issuesExecute repairs, adjustments, and component replacements for optimal functionalityWork Management & Documentation
Create and close out work orders with detailed data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usedDevelop work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsManage work order systems and maintenance schedulingCollaborate with vendors and internal/external service providers for specialized repairsPhysical Requirements

Position requires physical activity including lifting, standing, walking, and working in various positions to access equipment for maintenance and repairs.
