As a Mech & Robotics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of material handling equipment, such as conveyors, within a dynamic and highly automated environment. Your expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting will be essential for maintaining high operational standards.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment.Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventative maintenance sheets.Apply electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and identify equipment problems.Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.Proficiency in industrial and equipment maintenance.Ability to perform diagnostic testing and mechanical troubleshooting.Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures, conveyor maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Understanding of schematics and motor operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial industries.Experience with complex systems and industrial equipment, including conveyors.Preferred education includes an associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, or military training related to maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared to walk up to 10,000 steps per day. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, with positions available across all shifts. Performance is tracked using data and numbers to ensure expectations are met, although there is no micromanagement.
