Main responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of meat department operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements. Achieve department goals for sales, gross profit, labor, shrink, and inventory. Manage product ordering, production planning, merchandising, pricing, and presentation. Provide exceptional customer service and serve as a role model for associates. Perform meat cutting and stocking duties as needed. Supervise 2–20 associates and take appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary. Operate store computer systems and prepare weekly work schedules.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Soft skills: Strong leadership and customer-focused communication. Competencies: Ability to manage teams and meet operational goals. Knowledge: Meat department operations, food safety, and company policies. Abilities: Prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Travel requirements: May require transfer to other store locations.
