MEAT CUTTER
Main responsibilities:
Trim, cut, wrap, tray, grind, weigh, and display fresh meat. Build meat and seafood displays; rotate and discard outdated or spoiled products. Ensure product quality, trimming, grinding, packaging, labeling, rotation, and wrapping standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and display areas. Follow department standards for handling quick-sale items and ensure proper code dating. Assist with inventory control, stocking, and rotating products. Operate and maintain meat cooler, freezer, and butcher block. Use equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, knives, grinders, saws, and labeling machines. Complete and monitor daily logs, production charts, and other required paperwork. Comply with safety regulations and company policies.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Compliance with grooming and dress code standards Exposure to refrigerated environments (around 35°F) and freezers (as low as -20°F)

Pay transparency language:
The pay range is $16.49 to $29.00 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
