MEAL Service Contract

SCOPE OF WORK:

The US suspension order came across on the 24th of January 2025, which has affected the operation of the WPE program at IRC Jordan Country Program, and the operations have completely stopped at all the WPE centers, additionally, WPE support to the local partners have stopped aligning with the direction given by the suspension. On April 10th, 2025, IRC Jordan CP have resumed its WPE operation but in a smaller capacity and less geographical presence, where it continued the provision of activities in Irbid and Amman governorates but completely closed in Mafraq, and other locations that were served by the partners remained unserved for the time being.

Therefore, the MEAL department has thought of running a small study to measure the impact of the program within its beneficiaries, which will help in documenting the case studies and the reality of support impact on the served beneficiaries.  

 

Methodology  

The methodology of the study will include mixed approaches, to ensure having good amounts of data for triangulation of the results that will give a chance for building a solid analytical report, the initial plan listed below:

Main Tasks:

-          Data collection includes facilitation of FGDs, KIIs and Survey phone calls.

-          Documentation of the transcripts of the FGDs, KIIs

-          Data entry of all Survey phone calls on the related system.

-          Analyze the data collected to create a summary report, including success stories and quotes.

Outcomes:

-          Transcripts and recordings of all interviews and KIIs, written in a good and presentable way.

-          Analysis sheets that are clear

-          Summary Report


Minimum Qualifications:

-          Education: Relevant university degree or equivalent experience in advanced technical support.

-          Work Experience: good knowledge of INGO’s work scope, previous experience in MEAL especially data collection and reporting.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

Communication and facilitation skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Working knowledge of MEAL systems and tools. Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze, interpret and present data. Excellent English and Arabic writing and editing skills. Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) and database management software; experience with mobile data collection tools a plus (like ONA). Strong self-initiative, and ability to be flexible under pressure. Preferably have a previous working experience with Syrian refugees and local communities. Language Skills: English and Arabic  

Working Environment: This position is based in Irbid. The security situation in the IRC intervention areas is calm and the security department of IRC shares regular security updates to keep the management and staff advised about the new developments.
