In this role you will get to provide technical support to engineers on assigned tasks. Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or engineering methods and adheres to quality guidelines. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Assembles or constructs simple or standard equipment or parts; may service or repair simple instruments or equipment + Assists in setting up experiments and/or tests; checks out and calibrates equipment prior to experimentation and data acquisition + Prepares test specimens, conducts tests and experiments following established operating procedures + Adjusts and operates equipment and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from malfunctions or observational errors + Works closely with technical and engineering personnel, reviewing development issues reported through discussions, technical presentations and reports to assist in resolving issues + Assists in preparing documentation and reports + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field + basic knowledge in engineering methods or operational processes Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
