Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.Mechanical repairs of patient/resident equipment (beds, wheel chairs, bedside tables, gurneys and other hospital and extended care equipment)Service work – Including but not limited to:Electrical repair or replacement of light receptacles(bulb/ballast replacements)Plumbing maintenance and repair.(clogged stools, clogged sinks, etc.)Kitchen equipment maintenance and repair of garbage disposal, dish washer, food carts and small appliances.Minor repairs of building and equipment, desks, shelving and sheet rock repairs.Inspection/Repair of both manual and automatic doorsPreventative maintenance – Including but not limited to:Air Handler/Exhaust Fan Preventative MaintenanceKitchen Equipment Preventative MaintenancePnuematic Tube System Preventative MaintenanceTJC Building InspectionsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire.Valid Drivers License, must meet Mercy's motor vehicle standardsWorking Knowledge of basic hand tools1-2 years of general maintenance experience(preferred
