Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MDDU CBRN Training and Equipment Coordinator to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee and provide tactics, techniques, and procedures training for all TSS staff within the CBRN preventative mission space.Oversee CDL Drug testing program and all CDL Training, reoccurring renewals, and medical monitoring.Creates and manages records of TSS training and provides documentation to federal government.Maintains equipment and standards proficiency of TSS staff for both full time and tasked based support staff.Supports and documents monthly drills of TSSs’ on their ability to utilize CBRN detection equipment and appropriate protocols.Supports headquarters staff in updating, augmenting, or changing policies and protocols to better support CBRN detection and operations for the program.Ensures that all Federal and contract personnel receive first aid trainingEnsures all training curriculum, training costs and travel will be approved by the FPM and COR prior to conduct.Leads and facilitates all operational communications needs to include planning, deploying, and maintaining communication equipment.Ensures standardization between all MDDP Regions

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active Secret security clearance or higherMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability.Experienced in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection and CBRN training and exercises5 years experience in radiological and nuclear detection and trainingSpecial event operational experience including SEAR or NSSE eventsInventory, routinely verify operational status, track required and recommended maintenance, and ship and receive MDDU equipment and supplies.Update and ensure accuracies of all equipment databases.Understand and strictly follow all "radiation worker" requirementsFollow a regulations and requirements for receiving and/or procuring initial and replacement government equipment and suppliesUnderstand how to employ all provided detection equipment properlyDeploy on short notice inside the United States to support other MDDU teamsBe able to provide training on all provided detection equipmentKnowledgeable and skilled in using a variety of equipment including but not limited to Mobile/Portable Radiation Detection Systems, Personal Radiation Detectors PRD Spectroscopic/Non-Spectroscopic;; Radiological Isotope Identification Device RIID High-Res/Low-Res;. Auxiliary Equipment: Radios, Radioactive Material Sources.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipmentExcellent verbal and communications skills to include completing daily situation reports, after-action reports, and monthly report.Proficient in the use of computers, A/V equipment, Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Radiation Worker training and experience working with radioactive materials.Travel up to 75 percent of the month within the contiguous United States and US territories may be required including back to back trips in excess of a week.Must have valid driver's license and experience towing larger trailers including a fifth wheelMust have a Class B CDL license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of being hired
