The Naselle-Gray Rivers School District is a K-12 district located 30 miles east of the Pacific Ocean in southwest Washington serving about 300 students.

General Responsibilities:

Provide engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction for students in grades 6–12; create and maintain a structured, positive learning environment; differentiate instruction to support diverse learners; use assessment data to guide instruction; communicate consistently with students and families; and collaborate with colleagues to support students through strong instructional practices and MTSS/RTI systems.

Terms of Employment:

The salary range for the 2026-2027 school year is $56,038-$105,621 annually based on education and experience.

 Full benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, Department of Retirement Systems retirement and other optional benefits. Other extracurricular roles and pay stipends may also be available. Contact the district for more information.

 Essential Functions/Other Functions

Essential Functions:

Teach middle and/or high school mathematics courses as assigned (e.g Grades 6-8 Math; Algebra 1/2; Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or other secondary math courses). Provide engaging instruction using a variety of strategies and real-world applications. Establish clear expectations and strong relationships to maintain a safe, productive classroom.  Differentiate instruction and use assessment data to support student growth. Communicate consistently with students and families. Collaborate with colleagues to support students and implement MTSS/RTI practices. Support an intervention/support period as assigned. Other Functions: Other duties as assigned.

 Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Washington State teaching certificate (or eligible to obtain). Strong classroom management and the ability to maintain a safe, productive learning environment. Strong instructional, communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Mathematics endorsement (4-12) or willingness/eligibility to obtain. Additional endorsements strongly preferred (e.g. Science, CTE, Special Education, ELL/ESL, Computer Science/Technology, Middle Level Humanities/ELA).
