Job Summary:
This family are excited to welcome their first baby and are looking for an experienced maternity nurse who can offer reassurance and hands-on support. Mum is very keen to give breastfeeding a good try, so strong knowledge and practical advice in this area will be essential. She would like someone who can gently guide her, helping her feel confident.
The family favour a baby-led approach at the start, but would like advice on how to gradually introduce structure as the weeks progress. They would love a maternity nurse who is quick to build trust, kind and approachable, and who can be discreet in the home while keeping everything clean, tidy, and organised around the baby.
Flexibility is important, as the family would like one week of 24-hour support, followed by two weeks of 5 nights only (accommodation available). A friendly dog is part of the household, so candidates should be comfortable with pets.
Candidate Requirements:
Maternity nurse qualification essential Strong breastfeeding knowledge and support skills Warm, kind, and approachable Gentle in approach to routine, with good teaching ability Organised, clean, tidy, and discreet Flexible with working pattern Salary: £300 – £380 per 24 hours gross; £20- £24 per hour gross
