Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ **Responsibilities** Perform high complexity, detailed exams including first trimester screening, level II ultrasound, fetal echocardiogram, amniocentesis chorionic villus sampling, and multiples. + Scan high risk obstetric patients under the supervision of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians. Prepare examination reports and communicate clinical information and ultrasound findings to the physician. + Perform high quality and comprehensive obstetric ultrasound exams in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. + Screen during first trimester for chromosomal and structural anomalies and transvaginal assessment of cervical length. Perform fetal echocardiography. + Perform routine and comprehensive anatomy examinations including biophysical profiles and growth assessments. + Assist with ultrasound guidance during invasive procedures including genetic amniocentesis, transvaginal and transcervical chorionic villus biopsy, and fetal blood transfusion. Educates patient on the ultrasound procedure. + Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of diagnostic exams. Adhere to the standard of care and maintains a safe environment. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Credentialed in Fetal Echocardiography from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 24 months of hire date or job transfer date.
