Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide expert advice on product selection, performance characteristics, and specifications for concrete and quarry materials.

Customer Solutions: Collaborate with clients to develop customized material solutions for complex construction projects, ensuring technical and commercial feasibility.

Product Development: Work with R&D and operations to develop, trial, and implement new products and mix designs in response to market demands.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and audit product quality; liaise with labs and production teams to address any variances.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure all materials comply with relevant Australian Standards (e.g., AS 1379, AS 2758), environmental regulations, and internal quality systems.

Troubleshooting: Lead investigations into product or application issues, conducting root cause analysis and proposing corrective actions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the liaison between sales, operations, and customers to align expectations and deliver optimal material outcomes.

Training: Provide internal and external training on product performance, application, and compliance matters.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Geology, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of Australian construction materials standards and specifications.

Proven track record in technical support, quality control, or product development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory/testing data systems.

Desirable Attributes

NATA-accredited lab experience or exposure to NATA standards.

Experience with alternative materials or sustainable mix design.

Exposure to infrastructure, mining, or transport projects.
