You will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business.

As a Materials Specialist and Inventory, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
• Planning and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
• Working with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
• Performing various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
• Implementing inventory stocking strategies
• Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
• Working to ensure new assets, repaired assets and spares are captured with the Sales & Operations Planning process
• Assisting in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

Have bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related fieldHave 1 – 3 years of supply chain experience in planning preferably in oil and gas industryDeep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionalityAbility to work with and influence stakeholdersStrategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
