The position will focus on designing and processing functional biomaterials for addressing challenges in biomedical problems, particularly challenges related to healthcare issues. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2026. Interested Areas: 1. Piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and other mechanoresponsive biomaterials and devices. 2. 2D/3D printing and advanced manufacturing: intelligent implants and wearable devices. 3. High-throughput synthesis and screening, materials discovery, and AI-driven experimental data analysis. The research goal of our group is to design and discover novel biomaterials with exceptional electrical and optical properties through 2D and 3D printing platforms and further apply these biomaterials to fabricate tissue-mimetic devices to interface biological systems and to address grand challenges in healthcare.
