 What You will Do: 

Create Full Material Disclosures (FMD) for current and legacy Aerospace products.

 Interrogate CAD models and drawings for item mass as well as material and coating specification informationCross reference material specification information to obtain % composition material data and CAS# identifiers for substancesEnter above mentioned data, along with CAS# information into a database for reporting and use by supply chain team Research standards and material databases when cross-reference lists are inadequate.  Update cross-reference lists for future aid.Conduct minor analyses to close data gaps that may include using basic geometry or modeling to determine part volume, weighing parts, communicating with suppliers,…

Work Experience

What You Will Bring: 

Must have HS Diploma and some Higher Education or equivalent experience1-3 years Work experienceExcellent data entry skills, research skills, attention to detailMust have some experience in Materials in Manufacturing EnvironmentAll team members involved must be US CitizensMust be able to use Creo View and Creo Parametric to interrogate CAD models for mass and material information. Experience with drawings and/or blueprints  Must be able to perform simple calculations.  Must be proficient in error free data entry.

Pay Range: 22/hr - 25/hr

This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, IL

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.   Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
