MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST III

**Job Overview**
Responsible for the day to day management of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Planners as it relates to capacity requirements and customer order scheduling in line with the overall TE Automotive strategy. Actioning unplanned forecast demand, forecast shortfalls, production and inventory changes, providing accurate and up to date information.
**Job Requirements**
+ Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines quantity and orderdate for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiates purchase or production requisitionscompliant with supply agreements, and develops schedule to be used in production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Develops forecasts and plans for labor requirements. Provides timely and accurate input on supplier performance, may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance review with strategic sourcing. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
**What your background should look like**
+ At least 3 years of experience as Production or Materials Planner
+ Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment strongly preferred
+ Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Master's Degree/MBA strongly preferre
+ Strong Computer skills; SAP R/3, Rapid Response-Kinaxis, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word).
+ Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
