We boldly go. **Where is the work:** On-Site (5 days) **MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST** Trane Technologies is hiring a Materials Planning Analyst in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Materials Planning Analyst is responsible for evaluating supply chain and inventory performance. The incumbent will oversee KPI’s for supplier performance, inventory planning procedures, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns. The Materials Planning Analyst will develop and execute supplier stocking agreements, supplier owned and managed inventory, and vendor managed inventory programs. **Position Responsibilities:** + Analyze and execute inventory optimization strategies. + Identify and analyze supply chain trends. Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance. + Analyze supply chain risks and develop strategies to resolve the concerns. + Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers. + Maintain site level MRP Settings and data + Review and manage data enrichment tasks + Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations and support strategic business goals. + Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective material and information flow throughout the entire value stream. + Lead projects to eliminate waste from processes resulting in improved productivity. + Fostering culture change by training, developing and coaching employees to adopt lean principles and behaviors. + Collaborate with the department managers and supervisors to resolve any issues that arise during implementation and/or maintenance phases. **Key Competencies and Success Factors:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must balance multiple priorities, maintain technical expertise and achieve results through systems. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. + Must be a flexible, decisive, and proactive problem solver. + Must be able to work well in high pressure, fast-paced environment. + Must be a strong communicator. + Must possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once. + Must have solid interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate staff and to interact with various departments throughout the organization. + Must be resourceful, can find solutions to unusual problems and meet customer needs. + Ability to work independently. + Ability to work well in a team environment. **Experience and Skills Required:** + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field. + A minimum of 5 years of experience within manufacturing and supply chain functions. + Strong data analysis skills, proficient with ERP and MES systems. + APICS CPIM certification preferred. + Oracle R12 experience preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments. + Experience in operations management, inventory management, and lean manufacturing **Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:** $56,300.00 - $80,255.00 **Compensation Type:** Salary **Incentive Eligible:** No **Sales Commission Eligible:** No **Disclaimer** : We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
