As Materials & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring company operations are in accordance with state legislation, statutory provisions, and company policies;Arranging and managing all materials operations & logistics activities and related systems information;Coordinating deliveries in line with production demands, overseeing internal & external logistics challenges;Ensuring that materials are available for production and shipments are ready for dispatch when required;Reviewing and optimizing costs to ensure products and projects are delivered to budget and operating margin;Contacting vendors & suppliers to coordinate materials availabilities and resolve any problems and issues;Executes shipping documentation required for goods transportation;Providing monthly reports for imports, exports & domestic transportation TAT, cost saving, shipments tracking etc.Manage daily, medium and the long term planning / scheduling shop materials operations, aligned with customer needs;Work with production planner to maximize the flow of materials to the shop operations;Maintain schedules with summary reports immediately available;Plan and schedule Design Reviews for the product lines;Track product development processesConnect with ITO, OTR and sales teams, in order to assure customers targets and goals.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeHave experience in Materials & Logistics is required;Have fluency in EnglishHave knowledge of international logisticsBe proficient with Microsoft toolsStrong Quality and HSE cultureDemonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence others and teams’ leadership.Have analytical skills. Understanding and experience of problem-solving methodologyContinuous improvement driver / change agent;Availability to work flexible shift patterns.Ability and willingness to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations arise.Demonstrate experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and managementHave a good understanding of Oracle or SAP and MRP functionalityBe a strategic thinker with tactical execution with a sense of urgency, and a high level of organizationHave an awareness of HSE, Quality and Reliability requirements, and be able to follow all related policies and procedures
