Materials Handler III

Role Overview Inventory Management: Oversee daily management of inventory, ensuring safe and efficient handling. Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site. Quality Inspection: Inspect materials for quality and defects; identify items by part number or description. Data Recording: Count, weigh, and record units of materials moved on daily production sheets. Area Maintenance: Clean work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain safety standards. Crate Assembly: Assemble crates for product containment when necessary. Labeling: Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on containers. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Skills & Qualifications MS Office Suite: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Inventory Control: Strong understanding of inventory management practices. SAP Knowledge: Experience using SAP for data entry and inventory tracking. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making. Education & Experience Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional inventory-management certifications preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years in materials handling or inventory control.
