In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our [clinical/support/administrative] team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role you'll independently accomplish work processes in connection with medical and surgical supplies. Keep materials and supplies in an orderly and organized manner, maintain close control over materials and supplies to eliminate waste. You will also work closely with the Materials Supervisor to analyze inventory usage patterns. 🔍 What You’ll Do + Perform twice-daily inventories of storerooms and area material points as directed and conduct cyclic inventories of storeroom as directed. + Restock using proper rotation, organization, identification. Assist Receiver with bulk deliveries and bulk warehouse orders. Follow Materials Management protocols for processing purchase orders. + Processes all inventory transactions via a handheld data entry scanner and enters data (issues, receipts, adjustments) into stock rooms. + Properly select, transport, and deliver supplies (medical/surgical material, charts, office products, oxygen tanks, etc.) and equipment from point of storage to point of use. + Maintain records of issue and receipt of all equipment released through General Stores area and Operating Room. + Log on and file patient issues transactions and inventory batches in an organized fashion. + Audits transactions to ensure accuracy before entry into Meditech. + Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations + Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction + Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community 📋 What You Bring + High school graduate or GED and basic computer skills and data entry experience required. + Some hospital experience related to knowledge of surgical supplies preferred. + Familiarity with available storage and retrieval system preferred. + Meditech computer familiarity preferred. + Knowledge of warehousing procedures and techniques is a plus. + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service + Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 🙌 Why Sar atoga Hospital + A caring, community-focused culture rooted in teamwork and trust + Supportive leadership that invests in your development and well-being + Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and wellness programs.
