Materials Coordinator
Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Material Coordinator to work in tandem with co-workers to ensure all aspects of shipping, receiving, steel room and material handling duties are met daily. This position is part of the Stockroom Department at the Kingston, NY manufacturing facility. Howmet Aerospace Inc. Role and Responsibilities: + Prepare product for shipment, including picking items, county of origin verification, packing and completing all required documentation. Ensure all Export requirements are met; + Receive deliveries and process paperwork in system. Deliver and stock in at defined location; + Move parts from manufacturing work centers as needed, ensuring outsourcing items are prepared to meet pick up schedule; + Maintain Steel room, including, material identification, proper storage and accurate system inventory; + Complete daily cycle counting; + Perform troubleshooting activities on discrepancies in all areas of the department; + Maintain 5S in assigned area, including updating charts; + Performs duties of Operator as required; + Perform all other duties assigned; + Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards. The annual salary range for this position is $22.82/hr - $26.18/hr. Basic Requirements: Education: + High School diploma or GED Basic Qualifications: + One years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment; + Ability to operate Mobile Equipment; + Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position; Preferred Qualifications + One-year experience in a shipping/receiving role.
