Summary: Continuously improve the facility’s production planning, inventory control, customer service, and logistics. Provide support to the Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse Departments to provide high quality products in greater numbers at a superior level of service to the customer.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Enter sales orders and subsequent changes to guarantee the delivery of customer requirements.
Purchase the raw materials needed by the production department to manufacture quality products efficiently.
Communicate directly with customers to satisfy product and delivery needs information or planning requirements, and materials specifications.
Assist/perform production planning on a daily basis and monthly scheduling to meet customer demand and maximize machine efficiencies.
Assist with inventory control through cycle counting, production scheduling, and warehousing reconciliations.
Monitor and maintain MTP program including internal requirements and customer balances.
Assist with and perform regular maintenance on the manufacturing database to provide optimum use and accurate reporting.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education: High school diploma required; College experience preferred; Combined experience may be considered.
Systems: SAP experience is a plus along with Microsoft Office Skills. Ability to create excel spreadsheets and simple formulas.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
Reason: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and customer needs.
