Materials Compliance Program Manager

The Materials Compliance Program Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that HP's new product introduction (NPI) and existing products comply with evolving regulatory requirements and market access standards. Working closely with colleagues across different regions and business units, the Materials Compliance Program Manager will collaborate to identify, assess, and address material compliance risks, ensuring that HP products meet the highest environmental standards and achieve market accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with HP Region Sustainability teams to understand and interpret complex and often ambiguous regulatory frameworks, supporting advocacy efforts that achieves sustainable outcomes.Provide regular updates and communicate long-range materials compliance regulatory requirements to all HP Business units and Sustainability management.Develop clear and actionable regulatory implementation plans, ensuring HP Business units with products affected by regulations fully comprehend the material compliance requirements.Leverage strong leadership skills to guide and direct Business Unit teams, tracking progress and ensuring that materials compliance requirements and market access goals are met.Collaborate with Materials Stewardship team members to continuously refine and improve processes and tools—leveraging AI technologies—to help HP businesses achieve material compliance goals, ensure market access, and optimize resource use.Work with Region and Business Unit representatives to respond to customer, government, and key stakeholder inquiries.As a member of merger and acquisition project teams, ensure a seamless integration of both companies' materials compliance processes and tools into the HP framework.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, the sciences, or a related fieldStrong program and project management skillsBackground in leveraging AI technologies for continuous process improvement.Familiarity with HP’s Print and Personal Systems businessesExperience with SAP or other Materials data management systemExperience in Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business roles; familiarity with product development, manufacturing, product data management and logistics processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.Experience in working with teams across Regions and Businesses to accomplish challenging business goals.Strong ability to guide, and support peers in implementing efficient and effective material compliance solutions.Experience in managing process changes associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
