Collins Aerospace is looking for a **Materials Associate II** to join the Material & Logistics team in Monroe, NC. You will have a keen focus on inventory control, purchasing and supports areas of production control. Your day-to-day functions will include billing of transportation charges, release of shipments, settling of accounts, manages inbound receipts, records movement of materials, and counting stock items. In addition, you may be preparing and packaging small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
**This position will be working in an Onsite capacity.**
**This position is not eligible for relocation**
**1st shift Typically Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Possible overtime may be required.**
**What You Will Do:**
+ Complete component picking based on priority system to support shop operations.
+ Issue components to work orders making sure batch traceability is maintained.
+ Restocking of components daily in the stockroom into VLMs (Vertical Lift Modules).
+ Perform cycle counts on applicable inventory per the cycle count process requirements.
+ Perform material movement transaction in SAP for components in and out of the stockroom.
+ Process quality notifications for non-conforming components in the stockroom.
+ Must adhere to all EH&S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH&S.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
+ 1 or more years of logistics or shipping and receiving required
+ Current or previous experience inputting part number, serial numbers, and batch numbers into an inventory system
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Prior experience working with inventory in a controlled environment.
+ Computer skills, proficient with O365 programs.
+ Prior experience working with VLM’s (Vertical Lift Module).
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
+ Openness to learning new systems/processes/technologies.
+ Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
+ Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
+ Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or CORE.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
+ Stress tolerant to a fast paced, results oriented environment

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
**HOURLY RATE:**
The salary range for this role is $17.78 USD - $22.50 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
