Materials Assistant
**Job Title: Materials Assistant** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated materials assistants to join our team on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and D shifts. You will receive training during your first week on the day shift. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in inventory, material handling, packaging, and labeling who are looking for a long-term opportunity. As an Inventory Handler, you will perform warehousing functions supporting manufacturing operations and customer-related activities. **Responsibilities** + Understand and follow quality and safety policy guidelines, customer specifications, and adhere to regulatory compliance. + Work independently without supervision and escalate information to leaders for urgent and important tasks. + Quickly adapt to change, manage priorities, and make decisions efficiently. + Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in enhancing the work environment. **Essential Skills** + Basic computer skills + Strong attention to detail + Self-motivation + Ability to interpret and apply written and oral communication + Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and changing customer demands + Ability to work overtime, nights, various shifts, and weekends as required **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED preferred + One or more years of related experience preferred + Must be 18 years of age or older + Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks + Ability to lift, reach, push, and pull up to 45 pounds + Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment **Why Work Here?** Join one of the top employers in Idaho, where there is ample room for growth within the organization. Shifts include 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 6am-2pm), 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm), 3rd Shift (Mon-Fri 10pm-6am), and D Shift (Tues, Weds, Thurs, every other Friday 6pm-6am, transitioning to Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Saturday 6pm-6am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.60/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
