As a Principal Specialist, Supplier Material Verification Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional team working in a fast-paced environment filled with stimulating challenges and opportunities. Your hands-on expertise will directly impact our supplied material inspection processes and products, playing a crucial role in advancing Raytheon Supplier Quality's success. This position is an on-site role, providing you with the chance to collaborate closely with teams and make a tangible difference. **What You Will Do:** + Identify and manage supplied non-conforming material, ensuring high standards of quality. + Support Return to Vendor (RTV) activities to maintain seamless operations. + Engage daily with cross-functional teams including technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, supply chain, maintenance, production control, and the program management office to achieve organizational goals. + Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity. + Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE methodologies. + Work directly with Raytheon suppliers to expedite the closure of material on hold, fostering strong supplier relationships. + Collaborate with inspectors to ensure efficient processing of materials through inspection after engineering disposition, optimizing workflow. + Make critical decisions that affect program build time while adhering to quality requirements, demonstrating leadership and technical acumen. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
