What are our expectations
We are looking for a passionate, and dynamic person who will lead reviewing and dispositioning of non-conforming hardware. You will be working with a diversified team of quality professionals and trained inspectors. You will also be responsible to oversee and coach the inspection team, supporting them when they have questions on process / procedures & specifications.
What your day to day will look like
Appropriately interprets Engineering Specifications to understand the technical requirements of a productInspect, report, rework, and disposition non-conforming productDistribute and route QN as per applicable procedureProvide Engineering with supporting documentation for further non-conformity analysisDevelop part rework processAudit non-conformity report (QN) informationManage prioritization of production requirements with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environmentCoach, mentor, and train others within the Quality organizationWork in collaboration with other stakeholders providing technical support on activities relating to Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Problem Solving, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.Support the creation/updating and balloting of standard operating procedures and work instructionsGather data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards, acceptance criteria, etc.Produce reports and status updates for key stakeholdersContribute on special projects/assignmentsPerform Quality Inspection and Quality Review duties depending on business requirementActively participate in all required training to acquire authorizations needed for job functionAbove & beyond your role:

Must haves
Excellent communication & interpersonal skillsExperience in aeronautics or in manufacturing / assemblyGood understanding of inspection and repair processes on aeronautical productsExperience with reading technical drawings and specificationsExperience in reviewing critical rotating part.Assets
More then 10 years of experience in inspection experienceKnowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulations (TCCA)Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Continuous improvement, root cause corrective action & 8D experience.Knowledge of SAP and ENOVIA PLM.What we offer
