Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Tomahawk team for Production supporting a large, high visibility, fast-paced development program. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.
In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.
The MPM is the single point of contact interfacing with the Program Office and internal customers, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. S/he will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives. The MPM oversees all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements and ensures a strong link between various Supply Chain functions including Purchasing/Sub-Contracts, Logistics and Production Control. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where successful material strategy execution is a key contributor to overall program success.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management PlansPlan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where processIdentify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensuring a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production ControlWork closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issuesGenerate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requestsDrive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/managementParticipate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performanceQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years experience.Qualifications We Prefer

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
