• Title of the Position:  Material Process Development Intern


• Plant: Vallejo
• Location: Mexico City
• Work Hours: Part-time with flexible working hours.
• Profile: Currently enrolled in a STEM-related degree (Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Salary: The gross salary for interns ranges from $9,000 mxn to $18,000 mxn and compensation may vary based on the work schedule you select.
• Duration: 12-18 months.
• Qualifications: Graduation date must be between January 2027 and June 2027. English Advanced.
• Start Date: As soon as possible

About the role: In this internship, you will identify opportunities to simplify and standardize Material Process Development processes, templates, trackers, and documentation. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance workflows and contribute to process improvements.

Some of your tasks will be:

Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize MPD ProChem processes, templates, trackers, and documentation.Review current workflows (e.g., validations, formula updates, material qualifications, investigations) to remove redundancy and reduce execution complexity.Support creation and updating of standardized work practices, checklists, and technical documents.Analyze data related to raw material quality, validations, supplier performance, and recurring issues to highlight improvement opportunities.Navigate tools such as Enovia, ML&C trackers, and internal MPD references to collect, organize, and simplify information.Collaborate with QA, Operations, MSM, R&D, and Engineering teams to collect inputs and align on simplification priorities.Prepare clear summaries, recommendations, and progress updates for manager and MPD team discussions.

Job Qualifications

Hard Skills:

Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.Comfortable learning technical content and digital tools.Basic familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, etc.).

• Soft Skills:

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.Clear communicator.Interest in materials, manufacturing, or quality systems.

• Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with process improvement, standard work, or documentation systems.
